A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of collaborating with Eurostar for a little 36 hour trip to London! My old hometown!

It was so lovely to see family and friends! It was a really short trip but we managed to fit in a lot...

Flower Girl

Hello my loves.... Hope you have had a lovely week so far.. I'm currently at home writing this blog post with a bad flu.... I guess the change of the weather doesn't suit me as I'm always getting sick at this time of year... I've also been working like crazy recently so that hasn't helped.

En Rose

Literally the coat of my dreams arrived at my doorstep a couple of weeks ago... and voila! Here it is.... My pink dream! It's the first time I've owned anything so beautifully made and something that I can see lasting a long time... the quality is amazing and when I wear it I kinda felt like a super star..

It's from the brand Alice & Olivia.... A brand that I have just recently discovered and have fallen head over heels in love with... I'll show you the dress I got soon!

Happy Monday! Another week, another chance to make it a great one! Although my week hasn't started so well as I have the worst flu EVER! I'm lucky I even got to shoot this look at the weekend as I was feeling so bad… Thank god for editing photos! haha..(I'm the worst sick person ever… I'm like a baby.. Oooops!)

So yes, with my sick vibes this weekend I dressed in a casual relaxed way.. Not too relaxed though! Wearing my favourite off the shoulder style top to keep me looking just a little bit sexy!

This week is looking to be super busy with loads of events to attend…. I just got a new camera so hopefully i'll get the chance to take some nice pictures to show you!

Joyeux lundi ! Une autre semaine, une autre chance d'en faire quelque chose de super ! Bien que ma semaine n'ait pas si bien commencé puisque j'ai la pire grippe que je n'ai JAMAIS eue ! Je suis chanceux d'avoir même pu faire une photo de ce style durant le week-end alors que je me sentais si mal... Dieu merci, pour l'édition des photos ! haha... (je suis la pire personne malade... Je suis comme un bébé... Ouuups !) 

Alors oui, avec mon air malade ce week-end, je me suis habillé d'une manière détendue et décontractée... Pas trop détendue cependant ! En portant mon haut stylé préféré par dessus l'épaule, je continue à paraître un petit peu sexy ! 

Cette semaine semble être super chargée avec de nombreux événements auxquels assister... Je viens de recevoir un nouvel appareil photo alors espérons que j'aurai la chance de prendre quelques belles photos pour vous les montrer !

Comme j'ai dit dans le titre de mon blog ... Nous avons tous besoin d'une bonne chemise blanche, et celle-ci de Georges Rech est parfaite 

Just as the title of my blog post says… We all need a good white shirt, and this one from Georges Rech

is perfect! Great cut and the silk is a perfect addition to my spring wardrobe! I'm super excited to be getting my bare feet out now, next step is bare legs! Although mine could do with a little tan! (Hate being pale sometimes!).

My outfit as a smart casual look for my usual walk around Paris with Nusinamn on a Sunday morning.. I have to admit that we are getting very good at shooting early Sunday morning now! Even if it is super difficult!

Ps- I'm really sorry that i've been lacking in the blog posting area recently, i've been so busy with work and other things.. I promise i'll get back to posting often soon.

Comme j'ai dit dans le titre de mon blog ... Nous avons tous besoin d'une bonne chemise blanche, et celle-ci de Georges Rech est parfaite ! La coupe est superbe et la soie est un complément parfait à ma garde-robe de printemps ! Je suis très heureux d'avoir les pieds nus maintenant, la prochaine étape c'est les jambes nues ! Même si les miennes pourraient s’accommoder d'un petit hâle ! (Je déteste avoir le teint clair parfois !). 

Ma tenue comme look chic et décontracté pour ma promenade habituelle à travers Paris avec Nusinamn un dimanche matin... Je dois admettre que nous devenons bons dans nos séances photo du dimanche matin ! Même si c'est très difficile !

 PS : Je suis vraiment désolé d'avoir été absent du blog ces derniers temps, je suis tellement occupé avec le travail et d'autres choses... Je promets que je vais bientôt me remettre à poster fréquemment.

Une tenue qui je pense serait parfaite pour le bureau. C'est un look classique avec mon nouveau pantalon de Promod, mais avec un petit tour avec mes chaussures Manoush pêche.

An outfit that I think would look perfect for the office(and maybe a cheeky drink afterwards). It's a classic look with my new trousers from Promod, but with a little twist with my peach Manoush shoes. I think the shoes keep it from looking too office like… What do you think?

I'll be off to Dubai on Monday so I may be a little less active on my blog for the week… Family time always beats my blogging time.. It happens so rarely that I prefer to just switch off a little. However, I will be doing shoots in Dubai with a photographer so there will be a whole day dedicated to the blog!

Une tenue qui je pense serait parfaite pour le bureau. C'est un look classique avec mon nouveau pantalon de Promod, mais avec un petit tour avec mes chaussures Manoush pêche. Je pense que les chaussures permettent de ne pas trop avoir un look de bureau... Qu'en pensez-vous ?

Je serai au large de Dubaï lundi donc il se peut que je sois un peu moins actif sur mon blog pour la semaine... Le temps passé en famille bat toujours mon temps passé sur mon blog... Cela arrive si rarement que je préfère tout simplement couper un peu. Cependant, je ferai des prises de vues à Dubaï avec un photographe, il y aura donc une journée entière dédiée au blog !

I think a blue door is pretty much a fashion bloggers dream! It's so god damn photogenic!

And well... My outfit really did match with the door so seemed like a "must do" for this shoot. My outfit is a little summer inspired apart from my cosy cardigan from Pimkie.

I'm also trying a new pair of skinny white jeans that I got from Zara... What do you think?

Je pense qu'une porte bleue, c'est dans le fond tout ce dont rêve un blogueurs de mode ! C'est sacrément photogénique ! Et puis ... ma tenue va tellement bien avec la porte ; ça semble vraiment un « must » pour cette photo. Elle s'inspire un peu de l'été, à part mon confortable cardigan de Pimkie. J'essaie aussi un nouveau jean serré blanc que j'ai eu chez Zara ... qu'en pensez-vous ?

How to style wide legged Pants

Le premier que je remarque lorsque je regarde ces photos c’est mes cheveux… Mes cheveux… J’ai une relation d’amour/haine avec eux
The first thing I notice when I look at these photos is my hair…. My hair… I have this love/hate relationship with it. Sometimes, I love it so much, it falls into place easily and looks all healthy. Other days(like the one in the photos) my hair will decide to be as flat as a pancake and look all yucky… Annoying! I can also see that my fringe needs a cut.. Time for a trip to my hairdressers then! I've also been thinking about what I want to do with my hair. Half of me wants to keep growing it and have super long hair. But the other half is thinking about dying it some crazy colour..(Pink, Pink tips, Blue and Grey have all been thought about). But in reality I don't think I'm cool enough to pull of those styles. You know there are just some girls who look amazing with those colours in their hair. How I wish I was one of those girls! Because I guess I'll be keeping it in this style until I have the guts to do something crazy. #boredofmyhair.

The look….

Wearing for the first time… Wide legged trousers,  I decided to try something a little different from the Nabile Quenum X Pimkie collection… I hesitated between a couple of items but decided that it would be cool to try something out of my comfort zone.. Do you like them? I also picked up this jumper at a bargain price..So I was pretty happy about that!

Le premier que je remarque lorsque je regarde ces photos c’est mes cheveux… Mes cheveux… J’ai une relation d’amour/haine avec eux. Quelques fois, je les aime autant parce qu’ils tombent en place facilement et ils ont l’air d’être très sains. Dans des autres jours (comme le jour des photos), mes cheveux décident d’être complètement plats et sembler tout dégoûtant… C’est agaçant ! Je vois aussi que ma frange a besoin de la couper… Donc c’est l’heure d’aller chez mon coiffeur ! J’ai pensé aussi à ce que je veux faire avec mes cheveux. Une partie de moi veut les laisser pousser et avoir des cheveux très longs ; mais l’autre partie pense à les teindre en quelque couleur folle (j’ai pensé à rose, pointes roses, bleu et gris). Pourtant en réalité je crois que je ne suis pas assez de cool pour porter ces styles. Vous savez qu’il y a des filles qui sont superbes avec ces couleurs en ses cheveux. Oh, je souhaiterais que je sois comme elles ! Je crois que je conserverai ce style jusqu’à ce que j’aie le cran de faire quelque chose folle. #ennuiedemescheveux

La tenue…

Je porte par la première fois… Un pantalon à jambe large. J’ai décidé de porter quelque chose un peu différente de chez la collection Nabile Quenum X Pimkie… J’ai hésité entre quelques vêtements, mai j’ai décidé qu’il serait cool d’essayer de quitter ma zone de confort… Ils vous plaisent ? J’ai acheté ce pull aussi à très bon marché, donc j’ai été très heureuse !

Trying to Style a Maxi Dress

De nombreuses personnes parmi mes connaissances évitent de porter des robes longues car elles ont l'impression qu'elles les font paraître petites ou grosses. Généralement j'évite moi aussi de porter des robes longues pour cette même dernière raison...
A lot of people I know avoid wearing long dresses as they feel they make them look short or fat. I usually avoid wearing long dresses for the latter reason… The fear of losing my shape, and in fact making it look like I look bigger than what I am. I've often seen models in magazines that look fantastic in long dresses, but when I tried them on myself it never really looked the same. So after some trial and error I was able to style this beautiful dress from Magali Pascal in a way that I think still flatters my body. First I chose this dress because of the beautiful back detail, the open back really helps to make this dress more dramatic and show off what I consider one of the most beautiful body parts- the back. Also the fact that the dress gradually gets bigger toward.s to the bottom really adds a flattering shape to the body. For me I really don't like long dresses that cling to the body, I would feel totally uncomfortable wearing it and I don't think it's a flattering style for me.

I also had the hard choice of choosing what shoes to wear with this look… My sister told me that flat sandals would be the best choice.. I agreed actually, but sadly I don't own any sandals that would match with this dress(Brown, beige or black would have been perfect). I only seem to own bright red or blue sandals! Shame on me.. Well anyway, I ended up choosing these peach sandals, I think they match quite well. Although given I walked around in the super hot heat all day on Sunday with these shoes, I think a flatter shoe would have been better for the pure comfort! Lesson learnt… Buy neutral sandals!

And finally… These photos were taken by the lovely Edward who often shoots for the beautiful Caroline from Pardon my obsession.. I love his photography even since discovering him on Caroline's instagram.. So I hope we will work together a lot in the future!

De nombreuses personnes parmi mes connaissances évitent de porter des robes longues car elles ont l'impression qu'elles les font paraître petites ou grosses. Généralement j'évite moi aussi de porter des robes longues pour cette même dernière raison... La peur de perdre ma silhouette et le fait de contribuer à ce qu'elle me donne l'air plus grosse. J'ai souvent vu des top modèles dans les magazines avoir une allure fantastique en robe longue, mais quand je fais l'essai sur moi-même, cela ne rend jamais tellement la même chose. Donc après plusieurs essais et loupés, j'ai finalement réussi à porter cette magnifique robe de chez Magali Pascal d'un façon qui flatte quand même ma morphologie. Tout d'abord, j'ai choisi cette robe pour son sublime détail dans le dos, la partie dénudée contribue à donner plus d'effet à cette robe en montrant ce que je considère comme l'une des plus belles parties du corps – le dos. Aussi, le fait que la robe s'élargisse progressivement jusqu'en bas ajoute vraiment une forme avantageuse pour le corps. En effet, sur moi, je n'aime vraiment pas les robes longues moulantes, je ne me sentirais pas du tout à l'aise dedans et je ne pense pas que ce soit un style qui soit flatteur pour moi.

J'ai du aussi faire face à un difficile dilemme : choisir quelles chaussures porter avec ce look... Ma sœur m'a dit que des sandales plates seraient le meilleur choix.. En fait j'étais d'accord, mais malheureusement je ne possède pas de sandales qui pourraient aller avec cette robe ( des marrons, des beiges ou des noires auraient été parfaites ). Il semblerait que je ne possède que des sandales rouge vif ou bleues. Honte à moi.. Bref, j'ai fini pas choisir ces sandales couleur pêche, je pense qu'elles vont plutôt bien avec. Néanmoins, après m'être baladée pendant toute la journée ce dimanche dans cette chaleur intense avec ces chaussures, je pense que des chaussures plates auraient été mieux adaptées pour un réel confort ! Leçon retenue... Mais sandales neutres !

Pour finir... Ces photos ont été prises par l'adorable Edward qui fait souvent des shootings pour la merveilleuse Caroline de Pardon my obsession.. Dès que je l'ai découvert sur le compte Instagram de Caroline, j'ai adoré son style.. Donc j'espère que nous allons souvent travailler ensemble à l'avenir !
