Après avoir vécu à Paris pendant trois ans, je peux honnêtement dire que cette année a été la meilleure jusqu'à présent. J'ai finalement trouvé mon travail et mis mon blogue dans un endroit idéal (et plus important encore, le calendrier réglé au poil) et j'ai commencé à avoir plus de confiance en parlant français

After living in Paris for 3 years, I can honestly say that this year has been the best one yet. I've finally got my work and blog in a great place(and more importantly the schedule down to a T) and I've started to feel more confident about speaking French. I could write a million blog posts about my failure of learning the French language.. How I go bright red like a tomato when anyone speaks to me in French… But in the past I would have just automatically spoken English back, now I at least try to respond in French… Even if it all comes out wrong. You see the thing is, people understand me.. Even when i'm using the wrong tenses and verbs…. I'm understood and that's all that matters to me. However, put me in a party situation then I become the quietest person in the room.. Only able to say "oui" "non" and "merci"… I'm still working on being able to socialise in big groups. It's surprising how far you can get by on those three words.. So, I'm hoping this year I can continue to work on my French.. in any way possible. I'm also dreaming about living in a typical Parisian apartment with beautiful wood floors and large windows that open onto a "petit" balcony… That's my dream, and i'm going to work my hardest to get it next year!

Well, I'm talking about dreams because I got to shoot in this beautiful studio last week.. Right smack bang in the centre of Paris with a beautiful balcony. I took full advantage of it and put on the cosiest jumper I could find from Sud Express and dreamily looked out of the beautiful Parisian balcony.

J'ai finalement trouvé mon travail et mis mon blogue dans un endroit idéal (et plus important encore, le calendrier réglé au poil) et j'ai commencé à avoir plus de confiance en parlant français. Je pourrais écrire un million d'articles de blogue à propos de mon échec de l'apprentissage de la langue française. Comment je rougis vivement comme une tomate quand quelqu'un me parle en français... Mais dans le passé, j'aurais juste parlé en anglais automatiquement, maintenant j'essaie au moins de répondre en français... Même si tout va mal. Vous voyez que le fait est, les gens me comprennent. Même quand j'utilise les mauvais temps et verbes... je suis compris et c'est tout ce qui compte pour moi. Cependant, mettez-moi dans une fête et je deviendrai la personne la plus calme dans la salle. Seulement capable de dire « oui » « non » et « merci »... Je travaille encore sur être capable de socialiser dans de grands groupes. Il est surprenant à quel point vous pouvez vous débrouiller avec ces trois mots. Donc, cette année, j'espère pouvoir continuer à travailler sur mon français, de toute façon possible. Je rêve aussi de vivre dans un typique appartement parisien avec de beaux sols de bois et de grandes fenêtres qui s'ouvrent sur un « petit » balcon... C'est mon rêve, et je vais travailler le plus durement possible pour l'atteindre l'année prochaine !

h bien, je parle de rêves parce que je suis arrivé à filmer dans ce beau studio la semaine dernière. Juste dans le centre de Paris avec un beau balcon. J'en ai profité pleinement et j'ai mis le pull le plus confortable que j'ai pu trouver de Sud Express et j'ai regardé d'un air songeur par le beau balcon parisien.
